Project Spotlight: Refreshing Fencing for Moss Pointe Subdivision HOA in Nampa, Idaho

January 1, 2024

When the Moss Pointe Subdivision HOA reached out to Spray 'n Coat Painting, they were looking for an affordable way to bring their perimeter fencing back to life without any major repairs. Over time, the sun had faded the natural cedar and redwood stain colors that made the fences stand out. The HOA’s goal was to restore the fencing to its original, vibrant colors while adding long-lasting protection against Idaho’s weather.

Here’s What We Did:

  • Power Washing: First, we power-washed the entire fence line to remove dirt, old stains, and sun damage, preparing a clean surface that would allow the new stain to absorb evenly.
  • Double-Pigmented Stain Application: We selected a high-quality, double-pigmented semi-transparent stain to provide a deep color with maximum coverage on each side. This type of stain allowed us to restore the original cedar bark color on one side and the classic redwood stain on the other.
  • Weather Protection: To ensure the fencing would stand up to Idaho's variable climate, we applied a stain with exceptional UV stability and resistance to peeling. This helped the HOA meet its goal of refreshing the look without needing frequent maintenance.

Project Impact

Thanks to this refresh, the fencing around Moss Pointe Subdivision now has a renewed, polished look that enhances the entire neighborhood. The double-pigmented stain provides vibrant colors and excellent weather resistance, saving the HOA time and money down the road. At Spray 'n Coat Painting, we’re committed to quality work that protects and adds value to Idaho communities, and we’re thrilled to help Moss Pointe keep its beautiful appearance.
