Project Spotlight: Concrete Floor Coating for New Shop and Garage in Eagle, Idaho

Last Updated: January 1, 2024

At Spray 'n Coat Painting, we take pride in offering durable, top-notch concrete floor coatings for both residential and commercial spaces. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Jim Escobar, a homeowner in Eagle, Idaho, who was looking for a reliable floor coating solution for his newly built shop and existing garage.

The Project

Our customer Jim was in need of a high-quality concrete floor coating for two specific areas on his property:

  • A newly built 2000 sq ft shop
  • A 912 sq ft garage

Both spaces required a coating that could handle daily use and look great for years to come.

Choosing the Right Floor Coating

After discussing several options with his Spray 'n Coat project manager, Jim decided on a full broadcast flake floor in the color Domino for both the shop and garage. This flake system is one of our most popular options, known for its durability and aesthetic appeal. It provides not only a professional finish but also added slip resistance, which is perfect for high-traffic or utility spaces like garages and shops.

Why Jim Chose Spray 'n Coat

Jim was searching for a concrete floor coating that would stand up to the wear and tear of everyday use, while still looking sharp. We talked through the different coating options, and he appreciated that we laid out the pros and cons of each. In the end, he chose the full broadcast flake system for its balance of style and durability.

Jim mentioned that what stood out about working with Spray 'n Coat was our simple process, great craftsmanship, and fair, competitive pricing. He also appreciated that we stayed true to our promised timeline, completing the job on schedule without any delays.

Results

The end result was a stunning Domino flake floor that brought a professional, polished look to both the shop and garage. Jim’s feedback was extremely positive. He felt that we delivered exactly what we promised, providing a seamless experience from start to finish. His newly coated shop and garage floors are now ready to handle whatever he throws at them—whether it's heavy equipment in the shop or vehicles in the garage.
