At Spray ’n Coat Painting, we love seeing a home truly come to life with the right color transformation. The Clarke family, based in Nampa, Idaho, was ready for a bold new look on their home exterior, moving away from their outdated bright yellow to a sleek and modern color scheme. They wanted a striking new palette that could stand out while also harmonizing with their surroundings, so we helped them pick a combination of Naval Blue for the main body and black trim accents—a sophisticated look that instantly boosted their curb appeal.


Here’s What We Did:


  • Color Selection and Planning: We worked closely with the Clarkes to choose colors that would create a big impact. Naval Blue provided the deep, modern tone they wanted, while black trim added just the right touch of elegance.
  • Detailed Prep Work: For a color change as dramatic as this, we applied additional primer to ensure full, lasting coverage. This step was essential to bring out the richness of the Naval Blue.
  • Exterior Painting: With the home fully primed, we got to work with the new colors. Our team painted the entire exterior, paying close attention to detail to get crisp, clean lines on the black trim against the bold blue.
  • Quality Checks: After painting, we reviewed the work with the family to make sure every detail was exactly as they envisioned.
