Project Spotlight: Stunning Cabinet Transformation for the Hornbuckle Family in Middleton, Idaho

Last Updated: January 1, 2024

We recently had the opportunity to work with the Hornbuckle family in Middleton, Idaho, to refresh and elevate their kitchen as part of a full remodel. The family wanted their cabinets to reflect a modern, elegant style, so they reached out to Spray ’n Coat Painting to bring their vision to life with a custom cabinet painting service. Cabinet painting is a fantastic choice for families who want a fresh look without the hassle or expense of full cabinet replacement.

Our team worked closely with the Hornbuckles to ensure every detail of their kitchen update fit their style goals. From precise prep work to careful color selection, we knew these cabinets would add character and personality to their home.

Here’s What We Did:

Our process with the Hornbuckles involved careful attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Here’s a look at each step:

  • Surface Prep and Cleaning: Every successful cabinet project starts with a deep clean and proper prep. We sanded and primed the surfaces to ensure the paint adhered smoothly and lasted long-term.
  • Color Customization: For the upper cabinets and custom fridge panels, we used Pure White by Sherwin Williams. This color gave the kitchen a clean, bright feel and enhanced the natural light. For the kitchen island, we added a striking contrast with Hale Navy, creating a stylish, modern look that anchors the room beautifully.
  • Precision Painting and Finishing: Our team applied each coat with care, giving every surface a flawless, factory-finish look. By using high-quality materials and techniques, we ensured the cabinets not only looked fantastic but were also durable and easy to clean.

Project Benefits & Final Look

Thanks to these updates, the Hornbuckles now have a stunning kitchen that feels both timeless and trendy. The Pure White cabinets and Hale Navy island work together to give the space a modern feel with classic appeal, perfect for entertaining or everyday family use. This transformation turned their kitchen into the heart of the home, making it bright, welcoming, and distinctly theirs.
