Project Spotlight: Patio Floor Coating Upgrade for the White Family in Nampa, Idaho

Last Updated: January 1, 2024

We had the pleasure to work with the White family to transform their aging, stained concrete patio in Nampa, Idaho. Like many homeowners, they wanted a space that looked great, was easier to clean, and could handle regular gatherings of family and friends. Their existing stained concrete had lost its luster, becoming more of a hassle than a haven for outdoor enjoyment. Spray 'n Coat Painting was excited to give them a fresh start with a durable, slip-resistant concrete coating that would hold up to Idaho’s seasonal extremes and make their patio as inviting as it was practical.

Here’s What We Did:

  • Prep and Surface Cleaning: We began with a thorough prep process, ensuring the old, worn surface was fully cleaned and ready for a new application. This step is crucial to making sure the coating bonds well for a long-lasting result.
  • High-Performance Concrete Coating: For the White family’s patio, we applied a better-than-epoxy concrete coating with a polyaspartic top coat known for its durability and UV stability. This polyurea coating with a polyaspartic top coat resists oil, dirt, and stains, keeping it easy to clean and looking fresh. Plus, it provides slip resistance, making it a great fit for outdoor areas that see frequent use.
  • Topcoat Protection: The patio received a protective polyaspartic topcoat, providing an added layer of defense against wear, weather, and the sun’s UV rays. With this coating, the Whites’ patio won’t fail, allowing them to enjoy a low-maintenance, high-style outdoor area.

The Impact

Thanks to this upgrade, the White family can now entertain in style without worrying about the upkeep of their outdoor space. The new coating doesn’t just look great—it’s designed to withstand Idaho’s sunny summers and chilly winters without cracking, peeling, or fading. Now, they have a slip-resistant, easy-to-clean patio that stays cool underfoot and makes backyard gatherings more enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you to the White family for trusting Spray ’n Coat Painting with your patio transformation! We’re proud to serve Nampa, Boise, Meridian, and the entire Boise Metro area with our professional concrete floor coating services.
